Mystery Gifts
Use the same Nintendo WFC DNS setup, then receive compatible Wonder Cards and DS event content directly from the game menu.
Unlock Mystery Gift in Gen 4
Use the DNS setup from the home page on the same connection slot your Pokemon game uses.
Go to Jubilife TV, talk to the TV producer, then enter the phrases EVERYONE HAPPY and WI-FI CONNECTION.
After saving, Mystery Gift appears before loading your save file. HeartGold and SoulSilver normally show it from the title screen once the game is far enough along.
Open Mystery Gift, choose Receive Gift, then choose Get via Nintendo WFC.
Load your save and talk to the delivery person inside a Poke Mart to receive the gift.
The server can track claimed gifts when the game sends enough trainer identity data, so the next request can move to another compatible gift.
Good to know
A Diamond catalog entry will not be sent to an incompatible game version.
Open Mystery Gift from the title menu and choose the Nintendo WFC receive option.
New catalog folders and game aliases will automatically appear here when the server has player-facing data for them.
